This INTERIM Standard specifies the requirement for two grades of acrylic plastic media used for removal of paint coatings by plastic media stripping. Acrylic plastic media stripping is achieved by propelling the plastic media in a stream of air onto a painted surface to effect removal. the process may be used on various types of military equipment.
