This Defence Standard specifies requirements for two rubber resin adhesives, each with four viscosity grades, suitable for use in packaging applications within the temperature range -20 °C to +60 °C.

Adhesive rubber resin No 3 is suitable for general purpose applications. It is not intended for use on expanded polystyrene.

Adhesive rubber resin No 5 is similar to rubber resin No 3 but is suitable for use on expanded polystyrene.
