This defence Standard specifies both the materials and the manufacturing requirements for container styles used for the packaging of Service equipment for three mass capacity ranges:

a) 10 kg maximum mass (and 36 dm³ by volume)

b) 40 kg maximum mass; 55 kg maximum mass

c) 200 kg maximum mass; 400 kg maximum mass
