Scope This standard specifies requirements for paper-based product that may be used for wrapping or location in military packaging.

Types

a) Type 1 - Single-faced, corrugated paper to be used as an overwrap or location material for the packaging of Service items.

b) Type 2 - Multi-layer embossed Kraft paper, mainly for location.

c) Type 3 - Mechanically produced from clean waste corrugated board, into a conformable structure, e.g., a lattice structure, for overwrap or location.

d) Type 4 - Mechanically produced from clean waste corrugated board, in to ‘chips’ / ‘peanuts’ format, for gap filling location.

e) Type 5 – Wadding, Cellulose - suitable for use as a general packaging material and as a wrapping material for light weight items
