This standard specifies requirements for packaging of switches including ancillary items (nuts, bolts, washers, screws etc.), to Military Levels P, N and J.
This standard is applicable to a Primary Packed Quantity (PPQ) of one.
When the contract or order specifies a PPQ greater than one, a Services Packaging Instruction Sheet (SPIS) Design, as per Def Stan 81-41 (Part 4), shall be prepared using the principles of this Standard.
