This standard specifies requirements for the preservation and packaging of radiators, radiator cores, coolers and heat exchangers used in gasoline and diesel engines with an antifreeze / water coolant system.
The preservation for all Military Levels and packaging to Military Level J.
The specific requirements shall be complemented by a Services Packaging Instruction Sheet, (See Def Stan 81-41 (Part 4), and its Continuation Sheets if required.
This standard does not cover Air to Air Heat Exchangers
