This standard specifies requirements for packaging of electrical fractional horsepower motors of up to 10 kg mass, to Military Levels P, N and J.
This standard is based on a Primary Package Quantity (PPQ) of one. When the contract or order specifies a PPQ greater than one, there shall be a Services Packaging Instruction Sheet (SPIS) Design produced which shall follow the principles of this Standard.
