This Standard relates to one grade of grease calcium base, for use as a general purpose grease for plain bearings and for applications where the grease is subject to pressure under static conditions.
This product is also intended for the lubrication of certain naval gun mountings, weapons equipment, torpedo tube fittings, bulkhead glands, Cooper roller bearings and rudder bearings, operated over the product temperature range of minus 180ºC to plus 600ºC.
