This Standard defines the requirements for transparent flexible sheeting suitable for use as windows in collapsible hoods of motor transport vehicles. Although in the medium term its properties are satisfactory for the intended application it is not to be regarded as a permanent optically clear remedy for the provision of light or the exclusion of dust/grit and moisture etc. into the interior of a vehicle. At intervals, the glazing will require replacement as a result of abrasion, the effects of light and other environmental factors.
