Definitions

1. In this Condition, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

a. “Affiliate” means, in relation to the Contractor, any holding company or subsidiary or any subsidiary of that holding company, where “holding company” and “subsidiary” have the meanings given in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006;

b. “Authority Personal Injury Claim” means a claim for personal injury or death suffered or incurred by Authority Personnel to the extent that such personal injury or death arises from the Contractor or any Subcontractor carrying out Shipbuilding and is suffered or sustained or contracted or initiated, as the case may be, during the Shipbuilding Period;

c. “Authority Personnel” means Authority personnel engaged on or in connection with Shipbuilding including (without limitation) its agents, representatives or contractors (other than the Beneficiaries or any Subcontractor (where the injury, death or loss occurs pursuant to that Subcontractor discharging its obligations under a Subcontract));
