SCOPE AND SUITABILITY

This specification governs one grade of high flash point type aviation turbine fuel (intended primarily for use in military aircraft) containing fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII) as a mandatory additive.

Fuel provided to this specification shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircraft and/or gas turbine engines operated by the Ministry of Defence or other Government Departments.

This specification implements the requirements of Annex C to STANAG 3747 (EDN 3) February 1989
