SCOPE AND SUITABILITY
This specification governs one grade of wide cut type aviation turbine fuel (intended primarily for use in military aircraft) containing fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII) and a corrosion inhibitor/lubricity improving additive as mandatory additives.
Fuel provided to this specification shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircraft and/or gas turbine engines operated by the Ministry of Defence or other Government Departments.
This specification implements the requirements of Annex B to STANAG Number 3747 dated 8 December 1977.
