This standard practice delineates a method for qualification of elastomer diagrams, in accordance with methodology and documentation as described in Appendix QR-B of ASME QME-1, that are intended for use in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, CLasses 2 and 3 diagram valves. In addition, this standard practice establishes methods for production verification and for the development of service limits for elastomer diaphragms.
