This Standard Practice covers the construction requirements for high pressure wafer-, and flange-type iron knife gate valves.
This Standard Practice covers flanged body designs compatible with the following ASME standardized flanges:
a) B16.1 Class 125 flanges for sizes NPS 2 (DN 50) through NPS 60 (DN 1500);
b) B16.1 Class 250 flanges for sizes NPS 2 (DN 50) through NPS 48 (DN 1200);
c) B16.42 Class 150 and 300 flanges for sizes NPS 2 (DN 50) through NPS 24 (DN 600).
