This standard provides guidelines for the selection and installation of liquid organic coatings to be used over prepared concrete surfaces exposed to immersion conditions or chemical splash and spillage. This standard also covers propoer cleaning and surface preparation of concrete, types of service condition to which concrete may be exposed, selection of coatings through the use of laboratory and field tests, and inspection of the coating system during and after application to the concrete surface. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 141.
