This NATO/PfP UNCLASSIFIED AEP-62 Volume 1 is part of a document series, as laid down in AEP-62 from STANAG 4686 “PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF DEFENSIVE AIDS SUITES (DAS) FOR ARMOURED VEHICLES”.

The AEP-62 is divided into the following Volumes:

Volume 1 provides representative threat descriptions in order to determine performance levels of DAS. The potential threats, as defined in STANAG 4686, are classified as follows:

• Anti-Tank Rockets (ATRs), covered in this edition

• Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), covered in this edition

• Chemical Energy (CE) rounds, not covered in this edition

• Kinetic Energy (KE) rounds, not covered in this edition

• Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), not covered in this edition
