This document is a revision to AJMedP-4 Allied Joint Medical Force Health Protection Doctrine. It is: subordinate to AJP-4.10(B) Allied Joint Doctrine for Medical Support; takes MC 0551 Medical Support Concept for NRF Operations and MC 0326/3 NATO Principles and Policies of Medical Support into account; and, aligns with AJP-3.14 Allied Joint Doctrine for Force Protection.

As an Allied Joint Medical Publication, this document includes guidance amplified in subordinate medical publications such as:

a. Allied Medical Publications (AMedPs). Examples include AMedP-4.1 Deployment Health Surveillance and AMedP-4.2 Deployment Pest and Vector Surveillance and Control; and,
