AIM
The aim of this agreement is to standardise the maximum sizes for maps, aeronautical charts and other geospatial products (excluding nautical charts) produced by NATO nations for their armed forces, such that:
a. Interoperability is assured between those nations who are required to print geospatial products.
b. Map storage and field distribution facilities of one NATO nation can be used for the products of another.
