a. The specification for Ammonium Nitrate Crystal and Prill Type A and Type B (for use in Explosives) is not identical in every NATO nation. This situation could lead to difficulties should one nation need to use Ammonium Nitrate Crystal and Prill Type A and Type B (for use in Explosives) previously received from another nation. It has therefor been considered desirable to agree a common minimum specification whose use would be applicable to deliveries of Ammonium Nitrate Crystal and Prill Type A and Type B (for use in Explosives) from one NATO nation to another.
b. This agreement is intended for use by the NATO Armed Forces.
