The aim of this NATO standardization agreement (STANAG) is to respond to the following interoperability requirements.
INTEROPERABILITY REQUIREMENTS
To enable nations to conduct planning and implementation of S3 assessment testing of aircraft launched munitions to enable appropriate evidence to be collected covering the entire life cycle. The objective of the safety test program is to provide data to demonstrate that the munition will be “safe for use”.
