This specification covers the Company's requirements for fluorocarbon refrigerant for initial filling or recharging of refrigerant systems. These refrigerants will be: dichlorodifluoromethane, CFC-12 (R- 12), and 1,1,1,2 - tetrafluoroethane, HFC-134a (R-134a), as defined by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers in ANSI/ASHRAE 34-1992.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
