This specification covers the Company's requirements for a waterless heat transfer fluid, consisting of a mixture of ethylene and propylene glycols, to be used in exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.
INTRODUCTION
Care must be taken to insure that the heat transfer fluid is compatible with elastomeric materials they come in contact with, and not produce stains on the paint finish.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
