This specification covers the most frequently specified grades of aluminum alloy castings used in the Corporation's products.
INTRODUCTION
Aluminum alloy castings provide light weight and a good combination of strength, corrosion resistance and machinability. They can be polished and/or anodized to provide good cosmetic appearance.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
