APPLICATION

This specification covers a one-component, air drying, waterborne paint ^† . No South Florida exposure requirements are specified.

^† Note: Safety precautions must be observed when using electrostatic spray equipment with water borne coatings.

Most suitable for acceptance testing.

For acceptance testing, a cryptometer requirement per CEMS GT-2A may be used in lieu of the hiding power requirement provided a correlation has been established between results from the specific cryptometer used and the dry film hiding power results per CEMS GT-2B.

This requirement will be waived if the paint is ordered for spray application only and the containers are so marked.

All test designations refer to the latest issue unless otherwise stated.

Paint will be ordered to the viscosity range desired for the particular application.

Final acceptance will be based on the paint meeting the production drying schedule.

Final acceptance will be based on the resistance to in-process cleaners and metalworking fluids.
