INTERN MPAPS D-60A1-A2 PDF

This specification covers the general requirements, property and performance requirements, quality, identification, qualification, source approval, and quality control for materials designated under MPAPS D-60A1 and D-60A2.

APPLICATION

This specification applies to Interior-grade, polypropylene 20% talc filled copolymer blends with high melt flow for applications requiring high rigidity and good mar/scratch resistance. Virgin resin talc filled PP natural in color, with colorant added at the press, are designated under MPAPS D-60A1 are not meant for painted applications but intended for Class A applications molded in color application, whereas the resin itself does not contain UV stabilizer. The UV stabilizer is within the colorant added at the press.

Recycled PP + 20% talc designated under MPAPS D-60A1 are meant for molded in color, Class A applications, and require UV stabilizer, whereas the recycle resin is not supplied natural, and not colored at the press, resin pellets are pre-colored.

Recycled PP+20% talc designated under MPAPs D-60A2 are meant for painted, decorative film and non-Class A applications that do not require UV stabilizer.
