Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective JULY 1, 1997, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of CEMS B-50.
APPLICATION
This specification covers steel tubing used in exhaust, coolant, oil fill, and charge air systems, with formed, beaded, or straight ends and applies to tubing 1.625 to 7.00 inches in diameter.
NOTE: Refer to TMS-1059 for aluminum tubing used in coolant, air and CAC systems.
Refer to TMS-1061 for steel tubing less than 1¼ inch O.D. used in coolant (HVAC) systems. For new single-wall exhaust tubing designs, use TMS-1069.
