Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
APPLICATION
This specification covers requirements for stainless steel parts electroplated with nickel and chromium to provide a decorative appearance with good corrosion resistance. The coating will consist of four layers: a Wood's nickel strike, bright nickel, microporous nickel, and chromium.
