This guide specification covers the requirements for potable and nonpotable (raw water and sea or salt water) systems, in which the largest size pipe is 1200 mm 48 inches in diameter and the maximum working pressure does not exceed 1200 kPa 175 psi for pipelines 300 mm 12 inch size and smaller and 1000 kPa 150 psi for pipelines larger than 300 mm 12 inch size.
