This course is designed to instruct personnel, particularly those in management positions, to direct and be responsible for testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) operations of their firm. It also can provide valuable training, background, and reference for instructors of local TAB courses and for experienced technicians. As with other types of study courses, a disciplined and determined approach by the student is required for successful completion of the curriculum.

Two intermediate examinations are provided which review materials after Lessons 11 and 21. They are Study Course Exam #1 and Study Course Exam #2 which are graded by NEBB. In addition, there is a comprehensive Study Course Final Exam that covers material from the entire course. The final examination is mailed or faxed by NEBB to the student after successful completion of the intermediate examinations. The final exam also is graded by NEBB. Answers for the self-administered exams are provided in the appendix.

Students that complete the study course successfully will receive a Certificate of Completion. Completion of the NEBB Study Course (including the course examinations) does not qualify the student as having passed the NEBB National Qualification Examination, which is administered to TAB Supervisors with firms seeking NEBB Certification.
