Procedures for preparation of high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps for the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) are presented in this standard. These procedures are intended to supplement the TCLP by supplying specific instructions for size reduction and other critical procedures specific to the testing of HID lamps.
