Numerous ballast manufacturers have received and verified reports of incorrect application of shunted bi-pin lampholders (tombstones) used with rapid-start (RS), programmed start (PS) and dimming ballasts. These incorrect applications have occurred in both new luminaires and field lamp and ballast retrofits.
