NEMA MW 770-1997 applies only to magnet wire products. It provides guidelines for size of printing, format, data items, and the application of data labels to magnet wire reels and cartons. It does not apply to the wire manufacturer's primary product label. It covers only the secondary label needed to provide customers with information needed for efficient capture of data for warehouse input and output, receiving, and other inventory controls.
