The aim of this standard is to provide the sampling party with tools for determining the contribution of sampling to the uncertainty of results of quantitative chemical, physical and microbiological measurement procedures.
The contribution relates to sampling including all operations that lead to obtaining the laboratory sample and is hence in line with the determination of measurement uncertainty for laboratory samples formulated for physical and chemical measurement procedures in NEN 7779 and for microbiological measurement procedures in ISO 19036 and for water microbiology ISO 29201.
