  • A new requirement to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in community buildings in accordance with NFPA 72®, Fire Alarm and Signaling Code®.
  • An update to the Wildland Urban Interface/Intermix section in Chapter 6
  • Updates to referenced publications and NFPA® extracts

New requirements in Chapter 6 direct officials to inspect, test, and maintain private fire hydrants in accordance with NFPA 25 and to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in community buildings in accordance with NFPA 72.
