PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to give guidance on the content of Single Line and Key line Diagrams. This document also provides clarity on the differences between Key line Diagrams and Single Line Diagrams. Also included are details of the diagrams that substation suppliers currently prepare and the terminology they use. Suppliers are submitting diagrams that meet NG requirements however; these diagrams are sometimes given differing names see section 4 below.
