This schedule details the procedures and tests required to commission an OMS unit assuming that the following pre-requisites have been completed:

(a) The OMS has been installed in a cubicle or wall box and all relevant cables and connections are made to the FE and PE units.

(b) The OMS site configuration details are available or the units have been supplied already configured for the site.

(c) Access is available to the source of the meter pulses providing inputs to the OMS.

The extent of the OMS commissioning covers the following:

(a) Local Interrogation Unit (LIU) ports on the FE (Kenda Electronics OMS unit) and PE units.

(b) Meter pulse inputs to the FE.

(c) VT Voltage input(s) to the FE for frequency measurement.

(d) FE to PE data link.

(e) Radio clock input to the PE.

(f) Serial data links from the PE.

(g) Analogue outputs from the PE.

(h) Pulse outputs from the PE.

(i) Alarm outputs from the OMS.
