PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This document is provided as a generic SCT for the function of overcurrent and earth fault protection. The SCT is not manufacturer or type specific and so reference should be made to the particular relay's commissioning section of the equipment's manual for particular instruction. Additional relay specific test requirements - most to be added to this document.

The overcurrent and earth fault function is typically housed within standalone equipment but may be integrated within other light current equipment. Although this SCT should be used for commissioning the overcurrent and earth fault function within integrated equipment, other SCTs may be required to cover the full functionality of the integrated equipment.PART 1 – procedural
