This Specification refers to ropes which are used in NGC Live Line Procedures in the vicinity of live parts where there is no intention for the rope to be in continuous contact with live parts, but where the possibility of an inadvertent momentary contact cannot be completely precluded. The rope will only be used when it is dry and under dry conditions.
This Specification does not refer to ropes which may be used in parallel with live conductors or busbar connections.
