This specification details the common requirements for System Monitoring equipment to provide an integrated monitoring and recording solution to National Grid requirements.
System monitoring equipment is required for use at 400, 275, 132 kV and other lower voltage substations to provide monitoring on a substation and system-wide basis for the purposes of:
(a) Protection Fault Recording.
(b) Dynamic System Monitoring.
(c) Quality of Supply Monitoring.
