This Notice Board applies to all signal engineering staff who are required to transfer data to and from our signalling equipment by the use of USB devices. This includes signalling suppliers/contractors.

Note: This NB applies when cleansing a USB device prior to being loaded with data.

Purpose

This Notice Board recommends the use of ‘USB Scrubbers’ when transferring data via USB devices, for use on signalling equipment. This is to defend our systems from the risk of malicious attacks and threats to our business.
