Purpose

This NB is to provide information on the new level crossing audible warning which incorporates voice message warning.

This re-issue details the wiring configurations applicable for the installation of the Audible Warning Device (AWD).

Issue 1 was found not to cater for all sites; the circuit shown was for typical standard circuits only.

Issue 2 also caters for sites that have historical Audible Warning circuitry where the switching is in the positive leg of the circuit which is not to typical circuits,
