This Notice Board clarifies the correct procedures to follow when checking and topping up the oil. It also advises on precautions to take when the Barrier Pack is stored and transported.
It is applicable to all staff who are installing and/or carrying out maintenance work on BR843 Barrier Machines and/or BR985 Hydraulic Barrier Packs.
Purpose
This Notice Board is aimed at preventing failure modes associated with the overfilling and contamination of hydraulic oil within the SPX BR985 Hydraulic Barrier Pack.
