This Notice Board clarifies the correct locating pin/fracture bolt that should be stocked and the part that needs removing from stock. It also provides information as to a potential issue on booms installed with the old version.
It is applicable to all staff who are responsible for the stock of signalling spare parts and staff involved in the installation and/or maintenance of Mk 2 BR843 Barrier Machines.
Purpose
This Notice Board is aimed at identifying and removing old stock of the locating pins/fracture bolts (086/023674) used on SPX Mk2 BR843 Barrier Machines and highlighting a safety issue with the old stock.
