This Notice Board applies to Frauscher FAdC COM-AdC and FaDC COM-WNC cards.

This Notice Board applies to all Signalling Installers, Signalling Testers (SMTH, G110 and SWTH) and Faulting and Maintenance staff.

Purpose

This Notice Board is to highlight the potential risk of error from renewal of Frauscher FAdC COM-AdC (or COM-WNC) card where configuration data can be lost.

This has been identified following a recent failure of a Frauscher Axle Counter section, where AEB cards were power cycled and could not re-start as the configuration data to be read from the COM- AdC Compact flash (CF) was not present.
