This Notice Board applies to all signalling projects where changes to the train describer system are made including when new SMART Links to be provisioned, addition or removal of berths and changes to stepping controls. This also includes changes that affect “S-Class” messages used to convey the route set and signal status through the SMART networks. 

Purpose 

To raise awareness within Signalling Projects about changes to the contact arrangements for advising changes to signalling systems (new TDs) that impact SMART data systems and how to perform Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning activities. This is to enable provisioning of SMART Links to transport data from new TDs installed to TRUST and any downstream systems which consumes TD data.
