This Network Rail standard provides guidance for taking possession of withdrawable DC circuit breakers from the ECO, and also when returning the equipment to service with the ECO.
This guidance note does not cover the requirement for or the issue of any safety documentation such as a Certificate of Isolation.
Purpose
This Guidance Note will provide all areas where DC circuit breakers are used with access to the best practise procedure for taking and clearing possession of withdrawable DC circuit breakers under routine maintenance
