This Guidance Note provides advice on how the business will manage safe track access and the process set out in NR/L2/OHS/019 during the period when it might have reduced resource and system access due to the spread of Coronavirus.

It applies to all work activities carried out lineside or on or near the line up to a maximum of 16 weeks from the date of publication. At the end of this period this document will be withdrawn or reviewed and re-published.

This Guidance Note covers the management of:

 a) any work planned to be executed under NR/L2/OHS/019 including modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 of that standard;

 b) work planned to be executed under NR/L2/OPS/202 and NR/L3/OPS/303.

Purpose

This Guidance Note sets out the STE Chief Health and Safety Officer’s guidance for the production and briefing of Safe Works Packs, whilst minimising person to person communications and limiting the size of groups receiving briefings.
