This guidance note applies to Network Rail and its contractors who are engaged in faulting, maintenance, installation and upgrade of Network Rail's telecoms infrastructure.
The guidance note gives examples and circumstance to assist the telecoms Maintainer (Stage 1 review) with the processing of SINCS records as detailed in section 6.2 of NR/L2/TEL/30047. It gives assistance with the use of the Hazard Index System as detailed in section 9 and appendix A of NR/L2/TEL/30047
Purpose
The purpose of this guidance note is to provide information, help and worked examples to Network Rail and its contractors to demonstrate compliance with Network Rail specification NR/L2/TEL/30047.
