The scope of this module is to provide consistent management for the selection and design of escalators and moving walk (EMW) assets.
Purpose
The purpose of this module is for the design of operational property escalators and moving walks, such as to achieve:
a) Delivery of safe and reliable assets;
b) Delivery of consistent and compliant designs for escalatorand moving walks;
c) Compliance with relevant legislation and in particular;The Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), The Supply of Machinery (Safety)Regulations 2008 and Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998(PUWER).
