This module provides requirements for workbank planning which cover:

a) major interventions;

b) minor works; and

c) centrally managed costs.

It supports network assurance activities to inform Route submissions through use of infrastructure cost modelling. Digital Railway configuration states are provided to demonstrate the relationship between all types of signalling infrastructure and Digital Railway technologies.

This module applies to Route Asset Management (RAM) Signalling teams responsible for workbank planning.

Purpose

The purpose of this module is to specify the requirements to undertake workbank planning for Control, Command and Signalling (CCS) systems for CP6 and beyond.

NOTE: It should be read in conjunction with other asset policies.
